ECDHA) is a non-profit organization comprised of a diverse group of people with one thing in common - the Love of Draft Horses. Through annual events such as Plow Matches, Draft Horse Shows, an Auction, Carriage Rallies, and Fun Day, the group gathers together with their many draft horse breeds, to work and play together, to share experiences, and to enjoy each other's company. The ECDHA is also dedicated to bringing these magnificent animals to the public, and encourage horse owners (light & draft breeds) and non-horse owners alike to attend and participate in club sponsored events.
Monthly meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month, 7:00PM, at Blue Slope Country Museum, 138 Blue Hill Road, Franklin, CT. For directions check on our site or call Blue Slope at (860) 642-7084.
