New England Chablis is a mare of renowned quality. True to her
superior bloodlines and namesake, Chablis is pure charm that’s packed
with a willingness to learn and please. Not only does a Shire of this
color rarely come along, but add to that the ultimate in high-class
manners and a charismatic and wholesome nature.
Chablis was an
early Feb 2007 filly (Sparkland Jen by Red Brae Duke) She drives, is WTC
undersaddle and is well started on leg yielding. Chablis walks out
nicely forward; with trust
and confidence. Along with showing promise for dressage and as a classy
sporthorse; due to Chablis's willingness to travel with ease through
the woods, trails, and obstacle course she is a prime contender for
performance in carriage and cart.
Chablis is crowding 17.3 and
is super sane and sound with excellent hoof quality and correct bone
and angles. She is a mare that is totally content out and about no
matter where we take her. She is not herd bound in the least and fully
enjoys her outings. Chablis is a most pleasurable mare to have around
and work with. We have used her for beginner lessons on grooming and
harness work and she is a farm favorite. Chablis is a
mare that will not disappoint in any way, especially as a broodmare.
