Green Mountain Draft Horse Field Day
Saturday, JULY 30 SPECIAL EVENT
TIME: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
FEE: free with admission to the property
Come watch demonstrations of draft horses plowing, haying, and logging, using modern and antique farming equipment. You’ll also be able to speak with teamsters about what it is like to farm with horses in today’s world. Mini horses will be demonstrating how helpful they can be around the farm, too! Wagon rides will be offered to some areas of the Farm not normally explored. (Donations accepted.)
