Chez Chevaux is a full-service boarding, lesson and show facility. Chez Chevaux offers riding lessons to children and adults at all levels of riding throughout the year in the large indoor and outdoor rings. From October through April, monthly clinics with outside instructors and horse shows are available at Chez Chevaux for those interested. Participating at shows off the farm is possible year round–students attend shows locally as well as in NY, CT, NH and VT. Chez Chevaux is also the home of the Equestrian Teams for Bates College, Bowdoin College and the University of New England.
Chez Chevaux facilities include the large outdoor sand ring, the 60'x200' indoor ring and viewing room (both with heat during the winter), restroom, individual turnout paddocks with board fencing, and access to snowmobile trails from the property.
Horses receive top quality care from knowledgeable horse people. Chez Chevaux provides quality feed and hay, daily individual turnout, blanketing and boots as needed – all contributing to happy, healthy horses.
