FHE's various camps are a great time for kids to be able spend more time at the barn and learn all aspects of horse care. Camps are open to all children, and are a great introduction for non-students.
After School Camp~ The barn doesn't have to be a place only for the avid equestrian! Children of all ages can benefit from being outside and learning how to care for horses.
After School Camp is held from when school gets out until 5pm.
During this time students will play games (both horse related and just plain fun), help with chores in the barn, brush and feed the horses, and of course ride!
School Vacation Camp~ Each camp will include lessons on stable management, equine health, tack care, and at least 1 hour of riding daily.
Along with lessons in equine care we also play many fun horsey games to keep things exciting! Some of these include Simon Says, Egg n' Spoon, Barrel Races, and Around the World. On extremely cold days we can take the chill off with some hot coco and activities in the naturally warm barn!
Camp is open to all children from beginner to advanced.
