Stonegate Farm will hold their 21st Cross Country Schooling Trials on Sunday 2nd May 2010, and this year regardless of the number of entries, we will RUN. Height of fences and speeds for all three divisions will be appropriate for the start of the season, and we have lowered the entry fee. The previous weekend you probably will have ridden dressage and stadium at Kent School's Combined Test - now get a head start on cross country at Stonegate before going to King Oak Horse Trials the following weekend. Come and join us - you will have fun! And isn't that what this it is all about?
Beginner Novice, Novice, and Training Divisions:
Each division will consist of two cross-country courses of approximately 1 ¼ miles. There will be approximately 15 jumping efforts for Beginner Novice (which runs first), approximately 16 for Novice (which runs next) and approximately 17 for Training (which runs last). Courses will be jumped twice in the same direction. (Water at both levels.)
All fences will be flagged and numbered, and the classes will run as the cross-country phase of an event. Time and jump penalties will be scored.
The winners will be contestants with the lowest accumulation of penalties in both rounds of a division. Contestants may enter in more than one division, but awards will be given only to those who enter both rounds of a division
