There is probably no better introduction to the remarkable Icelandic Horse than the farms daily trail rides. They will match a horse to your level of experience, and travel at a pace that suits you ..You will be able to experience the horse's gentle temperament and smooth gaits. You won't believe how much action is possible underneath you while you feel the sensation, as Icelanders describe it, of "riding in an easy chair."
A seasoned guide will lead you out along the quaint back roads of the Mad River Valley ..and, in season, across meadows and into the woods on the slopes of the Green Mountains. By the end of the ride, you're likely to have made a fast friend of the horse that has just taken you on a most memorable journey.
